GOSIA Mailing List

• The list is NOT moderated and is open to everybody. This means that anybody can subscribe to the list and anybody can post a message which will be passed to every member of the list (with a few small exceptions).
• This list is managed by a utility called Majordomo. You can subscribe to the list by sending a message like:

  subscribe gosia

  to majordomo@slcj.uw.edu.pl. Likewise, if you want to remove yourself from the list, send the message:

  unsubscribe gosia

  to the same address.

  For a complete list of Majordomo commands, use the command:

  help

  Majordomo commands should be sent in the body of a message, NOT in the subject line, which is ignored.

• In order to get your message posted, i.e. distributed among all the list members, send it to gosia@slcj.uw.edu.pl
• Send majordomo commands (subscribe, help, info, unsubscribe...) to

  majordomo@slcj.uw.edu.pl

  Do NOT send such commands to gosia@slcj.uw.edu.pl !

• Please keep in mind that doing "reply" to a message received from the list will usually result in sending your mail to the original sender of the message only, NOT to the list ! This however depends on your mailer, in some cases your message may go to the entire list, so please watch your screen and think twice while replying.
• If you want to contact the list administrator, send mail to:

  majordomo-owner@slcj.uw.edu.pl

  Questions and comments related to technical aspects of using the list should NOT be sent to gosia@slcj.uw.edu.pl, instead please direct such mails to the list administrator.
